Arbitrix Travel writing

Arbitrix is a website for my London-based client to display her travel writings from her years writing for various magazines and newspapers,which have included British Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, the Financial Times and Granta.

Together we worked closely to firstly produce the logo- which needed to reflect a combination of quality writing and a personal touch. This was achieved by careful typeface choice and hand-inked like symbol.

We then worked on a bespoke website layout design which would look clear and professional, providing minimal visual distraction from the writing and without looking corporate. I incorporated a ‘Top Picks’ slider on the homepage to allow my client to highlight her favourite articles.

I built the website using WordPress, which is used as a Content Management System. I then added my bespoke designed template to this, and customised it to control the various post category feeds.
